The Midlands 1 League secretary in consultation with Midlands Competitions Committee have have reached the following conclusion:

“The decision regarding the game on Saturday is that as Peterborough failed to provide a front row replacement at the first time of asking then they are deemed to have forfeited the match.

This therefore, in accordance with rule 7.3.1.c , results in a 0 – 0 win and two points awarded Dudley Kingswinford.

Could I thank both parties for their co-operation in allowing this conclusion to be reached amicably?”

DK would like to acknowledge that Peterborough have declared from the start that they did not want to “profit” from the uncontested scrum situ that happened on Saturday. Safety was their only consideration. Their tight head prop hasn’t played at that level for a couple of years and they didn’t want to risk injury once he started to complain about his neck.
